“Bro… you look dead.”

“I feel dead,” Ahsan groaned, dragging himself onto the couch. “I slept for eight hours. Still woke up like I got hit by a truck.”

Sameer raised an eyebrow. “Eight hours? Or eight hours of turning like a rotisserie chicken?”

“…Don’t mock my suffering.”

“I’m serious,” Sameer laughed. “You’ve been complaining about your sleep for weeks now. Neck pain, headaches, bad mood… this isn’t normal.”

Ahsan rubbed the back of his neck slowly. “It’s this stupid pillow, I think. Or maybe I’m just stressed.”

“Show me.”

Ahsan sighed, walked to his room, and came back holding a flat, lifeless pillow that looked like it had survived a war.

Sameer blinked. “…That’s not a pillow. That’s emotional damage.”

“It used to be good,” Ahsan defended weakly.

“Used to be good? So did your childhood. Move on.”

“Shut up.”

Sameer grabbed it, pressed it once, and it barely bounced back.

“Yeah, no. This thing is done. It’s not supporting your neck, your spine’s probably misaligned, and you’re waking up tired because your body’s literally fighting your pillow all night.”

Ahsan dropped back onto the couch. “Okay, doctor. So what do I do? Buy one of those overpriced ‘luxury’ pillows that feel the same after two weeks?”

Sameer smirked. “That’s exactly what I thought… until last month.”

Ahsan sat up slightly. “Wait—what?”

“Remember when I disappeared for a few days?” Sameer said.

“Yeah, I thought you found a girlfriend.”

“I found something better.”

“Impossible.”

“A good pillow.”

Ahsan stared at him. “…You disappeared for a pillow?”

“No. I disappeared because I finally slept properly,” Sameer said, leaning back. “Listen. I was the same as you—waking up tired, neck stiff, couldn’t find a comfortable position. Back, side, stomach—nothing worked.”

“That’s literally me.”

“Exactly. So I tried this one—memory foam, medium soft, with cooling gel. Honestly, I didn’t expect much.”

“And?”

Sameer paused, smiling slightly. “First night… I didn’t wake up once.”

Ahsan frowned. “No way.”

“I’m serious. And you know what hit me the next morning?”

“What?”

“I didn’t notice anything.”

“…What does that even mean?”

“It means there was no pain, no adjusting, no flipping the pillow every hour. I just… slept. Like my body finally stopped complaining.”

Ahsan went quiet.

“So what’s special about it?” he asked after a moment.

Sameer shrugged. “It just works. The foam adapts to your neck, no matter how you sleep. I switch between side and back all the time—it adjusts instantly.”

“What about heat? I hate when pillows get warm.”

“That’s the best part. It stays cool. Like… actually cool. Not ‘marketing cool.’”

Ahsan leaned forward now. “And it doesn’t flatten?”

“Nope. Keeps its shape. Feels the same every night.”

There was a pause.

“You still have it?” Ahsan asked.

Sameer smirked. “Of course.”

“Can I try it?”

Sameer laughed. “You mean tonight, right?”

“…Yes.”

Later That Night

“Bro, this feels… different,” Ahsan said, lying down.

“Just sleep,” Sameer replied from the door. “Don’t overthink it.”

“Yeah, yeah…”

Ahsan adjusted slightly… then again…

Then stopped.

“…Oh.”

“What?”

“It… just fits.”

Sameer smiled. “Told you.”

Next Morning

Sameer walked into the living room.

Ahsan was already awake. Sitting quietly. Not scrolling. Not complaining.

Just… calm.

Sameer raised an eyebrow. “Well?”

Ahsan looked up slowly.

“…I didn’t wake up once.”

Sameer grinned. “Yeah.”

“And my neck…” Ahsan moved it side to side. “There’s no stiffness.”

“Yeah.”

“And I didn’t even flip the pillow.”

“Yeah.”

Ahsan paused, then laughed softly. “I didn’t realize how bad my sleep was… until now.”

Sameer nodded. “That’s the thing. You think you’re resting… but your body knows the truth.”

Ahsan stood up, energized. “Send me the link.”

Sameer smirked. “Already knew you’d say that.”
